We make personalised songs. To do that we need you to tell us about someone. This page explains plainly what we collect, why, who else sees it, and how long we keep it.

What we collect

• Your details — your email address and your Etsy order number, so we can find your order and send you the finished song.
• What you tell us about the recipient — their name, sometimes their age, your relationship to them, and the stories and details you write in the questionnaire.
• Your choices — the style, language and tone you pick for the song.
• Basic technical data — a one-way scrambled version of your IP address, used only to stop abuse. We cannot turn it back into your IP.

An important note about other people

The song is about someone who is not you. When you write about them, you are sharing their information. Please only include things you have the right to share and that they would be comfortable with. If the person the song is about wants their information removed, they can email us and we will delete it.

Why we can use it

We use what you give us to fulfil the order you placed. That is the only reason. We do not sell your information, we do not build advertising profiles, and we do not use it to train AI models.

Who else processes it

We are a small business and use established suppliers to run the service. Each one only receives what it needs:

Some of these operate outside the European Union. Where that is the case, transfers rely on the standard protections those suppliers have in place.

How the song is made

Your song is written and produced with the help of AI, directed and reviewed by a person. Every song is listened to in full before it is sent to you.

How long we keep things

Anything you uploaded	30 days after delivery
Your questionnaire answers and the stories in them	90 days after delivery
The finished song and lyric sheet	12 months after delivery
Basic order records (for accounting)	As long as the law requires

Deletion runs automatically every day, not on request only. After 12 months your download link stops working, so please save your song somewhere safe.

Your rights

You can ask us to show you what we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or send it to you in a portable form. Email hello@kpskboutique.com and we will act within 30 days. You can also complain to your national data protection authority.

Cookies

We do not use tracking or advertising cookies. Our pages keep a small amount of information in your browser purely so the questionnaire does not lose your answers.
